I struggled with journaling for years, trying to figure out what to write and how I could make the most of it. Even after trying countless prompt journals, nothing really stuck and I couldn't build the habit of writing. At first I thought it was just me but I quickly realized it was because the questions didn't feel meaningful for me.
I started to do TONS of research on what people journaled about, what questions pushed their thinking forward, and even took notes on questions my therapist would ask me during our sessions.
Once I narrowed down the prompts to the ones that actually pushed me to think about my days, weeks, and months differently I would use them daily during my journaling sessions. Finding the right questions made a world of difference when it came to how I journaled. Once I cracked that, I never missed another day.
Beyond just prompting you to reflect on the day's wins, moments of gratitude, and events worth remember, there's a different self-reflection question every day to help you dig deeper and learn more about yourself.
For me personally, journaling is meant to help you
Those are the goals I keep in mind when I journal, so that's what this journal was designed for.
If you're ready to build a journaling habit that actually makes a difference in your life, check out my 5 Minute Growth Journal. It's available both in GoodNotes format or as a Notion template.
If you prefer writing by hand, you can print out the GoodNotes version OR just copy the prompts to a journal.
