Stress Is Actually Enhancing Your Life...

Better sleep, lower cortisol, higher motivation...have we been lied to about stress?!

Recently I listened to this podcast by Andrew Huberman about how stress can actually be an enhancing factor in your life. Believe me when I say my drop DROPPED learning about the stress-is-enhancing mindset.

I spent more than half of my adult life being stressed, and the other half stressing about how I can be less stressed. When I learned that to change the physiological effects that stress has on your body, all you have to do is change your mindset about it… that shit really blew me away. (And PISSED me off! I wish I had learned about this sooner! They should be teaching this in school!!)

Save the podcast episode to your TBL (to be listened) list but fair warning—it is long. I also wrote a quick blog post about it, so if you’d rather do a shorter read about the mindset and what it’s all about, here it is.

Long story short, by adopting the stress-is-enhancing mindset, you’re actually able to

  • respond better to stress,
  • have more adaptive physiological responses,
  • lower your cortisol levels,
  • and feel more open to feedback towards improving yourself

The best part is that it’s actually SUPER EASY to adopt this mindset and get instantaneous results. No, you don’t have to buy anything or pay a monthly subscription… You just have to change your mindset by learning the facts.
